5500 Ionised Airknife
Product description
Model 5500 is a fan-powered ionised airknife which offers many advantages compared with large compressed air systems.
It is used to remove dust from mouldings, automobiles and a wide variety of sheets and webs.
Benefits and Advantages
A5500 system consists of one or more ionised airknives connected to an external blower. The blower produces a high volume of air which exits from the airknife in a fast laminar flow.
With an airspeed of up to 110m/second the 5500 produces a high performance, thorough removal of statically attracted contaminants.
The running cost is typically 80% less than a similar compressed air system. This results in a payback of under 6 months compared to many compressed air installations.
Ionisation is provided by the market leading 1250 Static Eliminator Bar.
A custom specification of the blower will be made by the factory, taking into consideration its location, the length and configuration of pipework and the number and size of airknives.
