Fraser Launches New HP Connector Box
A single "NEW" HP connector box allows the service of additional 4 x 5.5kv or 8kv appliances, expanding the appliance connections available up to 16 devices on a HP50 or HP80 and 8 devices on an HP50-2.This unit is especially useful where a client wants to run more devices than usual from a single power unit -- the devices used and their HT cable must not exceed the total cable and bar maximum load capacity.
A recent application was to run 36 off 1265 single point bars from a minimum number of power units -- by using 4 x HP connector boxes per HP50 power unit and 3 x 1265 SPB's per connector box we were able to reduce the power unit requirement to 3 x HP50's instead of the usual 9.
